Terms & Conditions
Irish Football Academy – Terms & Conditions
By registering for or attending any activity operated by Irish Football Academy (“the
Academy”, “we"), you agree to the following Terms & Conditions. These
Terms apply to all memberships, sessions, and bookings made through our booking system.
1. Disclaimer & Academy Rights
1.1 The Academy reserves the right to amend, reschedule, relocate, or cancel any
session at any time, including due to weather, pitch availability, coach availability, or safety concerns.
1.2 Where a session is cancelled by the Academy, we will endeavour to provide at least 24 hours’ notice, where possible.
1.3 The Academy reserves the right to refuse participation or remove any child or
parent/guardian whose conduct is disruptive, unsafe, or inappropriate, without refund.
2. Membership & Payments
2.1 The Academy operates on a monthly prepaid membership model. Each monthly
membership includes 4 sessions per month (“Monthly Package”).
2.2 All memberships must be paid in advance via the booking system. We do not
accept cash payments at sessions.
2.3 Membership is valid for the named child only and is non-transferable.
2.4 Memberships renew monthly unless cancelled in accordance with the cancellation
policy.
2.5 The Academy reserves the right to amend pricing or session structure with
reasonable notice.
2.6 Memberships run on a calendar-month basis, from the 1st day to the last day of
each calendar month (e.g. 1st January to 31st January).
2.7 Memberships do not operate on a rolling four-week basis.
2.8 Participants joining part way through a calendar month will be charged a pro rata
membership fee, calculated based on the number of sessions remaining in that
month.
2.9 Pro rata memberships entitle the participant to attend only the remaining
available sessions within that calendar month.
2.10 Pro rata memberships do not increase or extend the number of sessions
available beyond the end of the calendar month.
2.11 Any unused sessions within a pro rata month are forfeited at the end of that
month.
2.12 Memberships may be cancelled for future months by providing notice through by emailing info@irishfootballacademy.ie with 1 months notice.
Cancellation stops future charges only and does not entitle the member to any refund for the current or past months.
3. Session Booking & Attendance
3.1 Parents/guardians must book sessions in advance through the booking system.
3.2 Attendance is subject to session capacity. Booking early is recommended.
3.3 Sessions may occur at various location(s) and times as advertised on the booking system.
3.4 Parents/guardians are responsible for ensuring the child is dropped off and collected on time. Persistent late collection may result in removal from the programme.
3.5 Each full monthly membership entitles the participant to attend up to four (4) sessions within that calendar month.
3.6 Sessions must be attended within the same calendar month in which the membership is active.
3.7 Unused sessions expire at the end of the calendar month and do not roll over to
future months.
4. Cancellations, Missed Sessions & Rollovers
4.1 All sessions are booked and paid for in advance as part of a monthly 4-session
membership.
4.2 Cancellations by parents/guardians are not refundable and cannot be rescheduled, regardless of notice period or reason.
4.3 If a participant does not attend a session for any reason, the session is forfeited.
4.4 Missed sessions do not carry forward to future months.
4.5 This policy applies to all circumstances, including illness, holidays, weather, or
other personal commitments.
5. Refund Policy
5.1 Monthly memberships are strictly non-refundable once purchased, except where required by Irish consumer protection law.
5.2 The Academy does not issue refunds, credits, or partial refunds for:

• cancelled sessions by parents/guardians
• non-attendance
• unused sessions
5.3 Booking and system fees are non-refundable in all circumstances.
6. Academy Cancellations
6.1 The Academy reserves the right to cancel sessions due to circumstances beyond its control, including but not limited to weather conditions, pitch closures, safety concerns, coach unavailability, or force majeure events. Sessions may proceed in wet or adverse weather conditions unless deemed unsafe by the Academy.
6.2 Where the Academy cancels a session, no refunds, credits, or replacement sessions will be issued. This policy is reflected in the pricing structure of the monthly membership.
6.3 The monthly membership fee reflects access to a programme of training sessions rather than a guarantee of any specific session taking place.
6.4 The Academy shall not be liable for any costs, losses, or inconvenience incurred as a result of session cancellation.
7. Photography & Video
7.1 Official Academy photographs and videos may be taken during sessions for coaching, promotional, and communication purposes.

8.2 In case of injury or illness, you authorise Academy staff to administer basic first aid and/or seek emergency treatment where required.
8.3 Participation is at your own risk and football is a physical sport involving inherent risks of injury.
9. Behaviour & Code of Conduct
9.1 Participants must follow coaching instructions and treat others with respect.
9.2 Bullying, aggressive behaviour, or persistent disruption will result in removal from the session and may lead to cancellation of membership without refund.
9.3 Parents/guardians must behave respectfully toward coaches, staff, and other participants. Abusive behaviour may result in removal from the programme.
